A Go Tours Travel Companion/Tour Director accompanies the group as an added resource before, during and after the tour!

Aug 30:  7:00am Depart Beazley Senior Center, 268 Owens St, Portsmouth; 7:30am pick up at Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel; lunch stop (on your own) enroute to Lancaster PA; this evening’s included meal is a full-service dinner at Casey Jones’ Restaurant at Paradise Station where we’ll dine in one of the Coach Cars that actually rode the rails of the Pennsylvania RR.  After the meal, an evening of inspiring music as Perfect Harmony and the resident production company of The Barn at Paradise Station present “Then Sings My Soul: Beloved Hymns & Songs Inspired by the Ministry of Billy Graham”.  Overnight at the DoubleTree by Hilton for some much-needed rest.

Aug 31:  A guided tour of Lancaster County follows breakfast at the hotel…we’ll make the traditional stop at one of the local Amish roadside stands or farms for some shopping before heading to Sight & Sound Theatre for the highlight of our tour…“Moses”…set adrift as a baby, he is an unlikely hero — until God calls him to lead His people out of Egypt and into the Promised Land. Journey with Moses as he ventures through the wilderness, encounters God at the burning bush, and ascends to the top of Mount Sinai.  We end our tour of Lancaster with a meal at the home of Alvin & Martha Lapp and children, an Amish family who open their home to us for an incredible afternoon of dining, fellowship and song.  Leaving the Lapp family home, we depart for Virginia, dropping off at the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel around 10:30pm and at the Beazley Senior Center around 11:00.

Tour includes roundtrip transportation on a full-size motorcoach, reserved seating for “Moses” at Sight & Sound Theatre, Tickets for “Then Sings My Soul” at The Barn at Paradise Station, Overnight at DoubleTree by Hilton, Breakfast at the Hotel, Meals at Casey Jones’ Restaurant at Paradise Station and the Lapp family Amish home, Snacks & Water on the Bus, Services of a Go Tours Tour Director and baggage service at the hotel.
